The 49th season of Saturday Night Live is approaching and the One SNL A Day 2 crew is happy to announce the third annual Guess The Host Contest! Do you think you can accurately predict the host and musical guests for the upcoming season? Get your colored notecards ready!

Rules:

• Because of the entertainment industry’s strikes, we decided to postpone the contest from its usual August start date. For this year’s contest your lists must be submitted in the comment section below by 11:59pm EDT on October 31th.
• In the comment section below, submit a list of 22 people you think will host and another list of 22 for musical guests. If you submit a list, in the host or musical guest category, that exceeds the set limit only the first 22 names will be counted and the remaining names will be disqualified.
• Once your picks are submitted they are locked in and you cannot change your selection. 
• In the event SNL or another party officially announces an upcoming lineup after you submit, but before the official end of the submission deadline on October 31st, you will automatically be rewarded points for the names you missed.
• Each correct guess will equal one point. 
• To earn a point, the name of the host and musical guest must accurately match how the individual or group is addressed in the opening montage. For example: if you select the Jonas Brothers as a musical guest, but only Nick Jonas is listed you will not be rewarded a point. 
• A point will not be rewarded if an individual is announced but ultimately cancels their appearance before the show date. 
• If an individual or group performs double duty (meaning they are both the host and musical guest in an episode) you can earn a point for each if you submitted them in both categories. For example: if Jack Harlow does double duty, but you only submitted him in the musical guest category you will not receive credit for the host category.
• If there are two hosts, or musical guests, in an episode you can receive credit for both names. For example: if Steve Martin and Martin Short host together you can earn two points if you submitted both individually in the host category.
